Durkheim and the sociology of crime: The discovery of a course from 1892-1893

Professor at the University of Bordeaux, Matthieu Bera has found a manuscript from Marcel Mauss that he identified as the quasi-shorthand of a course taught by Émile Durkheim in Bordeaux in 1892-1893. M. Bera has edited it with substantial critical remarks. This text already contains the Durkheimian theory of crime. That is its value for criminal sociology.
