Insecurity and urban areas in the Paris Region

How can overexposure to victimisation and insecurity in the Paris Region be broken down across the variety of its urban (or not-so-urban) areas? To answer this question we have subdivided the region into territorial units characterised by their levels of victimisation and crime-related insecurity, by socio-professional and migratory structure and finally by electoral behaviour. Integrating these data results in a typology of areas in the Paris Region, in which various configurations of victimisation/fear/concern combine with a range of social and electoral patterns.
