Psychiatry and Mental Health Examining DSM

Using the lens of a critique of DSM, this article seeks to examine a series of topical questions, interesting both to an informed public and to the general public, given the tendency to privilege a medical view of particular populations, rather than caring for each ill individual. We see the emergence of a psychiatry for the well, in relation not only to « pills for the well » but also because of the broad movement towards ameliorating the human condition.
